In the beginning of 2025, I identified the need for a unified Indigenous space within the Vtuber (Virtual YouTuber) community. I asked 4 of my colleagues if they would join me and together we co-founded the Native Vtuber Network (NTVTN).

Since then we have been working hard to create a space for and promote our member's creative endeavors, as well as embark on projects of our own including a weekend long event that gave our members an opportunity to showcase themselves and their talents.

We as Indigenous people are often left to make space for ourselves in industries which do not typically care to, or even actively work against seeing people like us succeed. It is up to us to help each other, provide each other with necessary resources, and make each other feel welcomed.

Our purpose and mission is to facilitate a space for encouragement, support, and to uplift Indigenous artists that identify as Vtubers, as well as seeing our members promote Indigenous traditions and cultural values through every type of media they choose to create.
